Went on Thursday with a sore throat, ear pain and swollen glands. Got seen by Dr Wickham. Nice man, but didn't listen well and he passed off my symptoms. Peeked in my ears and said they were fine. Swabbed for strep but I had to go outside for the swab and wait in the car. Called me and said it was negative and that I just have one of thousands of viruses. Just rest. My poor 23 month old daughter cut next to her eye on the corner of the end table. We made it in on a Friday night minutes before closing. We still got amazing care and the nurse we had, Shelly I believe, was out of this world. Made things less scary for the baby and comfortable for me. We don’t like going to the doctor for things because it’s typically not good, but if we have to, we love going to Mercy anything
This review is specific to one doctor. Dr. Steven Runde. I really appreciated the extra time he took with me to resolve a medical condition that i have had over 20 years, where no other Dr. had an answer. After the explanation of my symptoms Runde gave me a direction to go for treatment that was simple, inexpensive and no side effects. After he gave me the name of the ailment, i did my research and he was spot on. Thank you!
