There to visit my aunt that was in the hospital and wanted something to eat at 11pm. I was at the later night window that I had been directed to standing behind a gal that was in scrubs. Never have I ever felt more disrespected before in my life. Felt like everything I was saying was completely ignored. I rather die in my bed then ever have to come to this hospital. Whatever doctor I had needs to take lessons again in bed side manners.

My family has been a customer of Mercy Cedar Rapids many times over the past several years. We also have family members who work there. The staff is outstanding and we have had wonderful care. However, I want everyone to know how management treats their staff. Did you know that if you are an employee and you are sick, throwing up, strep throat, flu, or even have a child with life threatening illnesses in the hospital, you get negative points on your record.
