I went to ER, last night, for a possible blood clot in my right leg. I explained to them at the window that I have a history of blood clots and that I had a pulmonary embolism 3 years ago. I sat in the waiting room for 2 and a half hours, never seeing anyone. When my husband went to the window to ask how much longer it would be before they got me back, he was told there was still 5 people ahead of me. Seriously? I thought blood clots were an emergency situation. I will never go back to this ER ever again.
I would say that the staff did everything they could to make my experience as painless and comfortable as possible ! They answered all of my questions so I could understand what was going to happen ! I would recommend Mercy Medical Center to everyone I know !
I had an MRI yesterday and everyone was very nice and the radiologist was amazing she took her time and answered all my questions, wish I had gotten her name so people would know there are some good workers at Mercy.
The nursing staff on the surgical care floor (2nd floor) are outstanding! My son has been there for over a week now and every nurse and aide he has come across has been nice, helpful and compassionate.
The staff in the surgery center were excellent! My 7yr old was very anxious and crying. They were so kind and patient with him! I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
Nurses here have been very nice always checking up on my girl very helpful nice and professional
I had to go to mercy on Tuesday for a lung biopsy went home and 4 hours later in emergency room with an emergency chest tube put in that doctor saved my life the staff was exceptional and I'm still here been in icu and 8 main they have a great nurses there very kind and professional I worked there in the early ninety and it's just as great now as it was then thank you for everything and God bless all of you
We were in the maternity ward having our first born child. The staff, the attention to care, and the demeanor was absolutely wonderful. Can't thank everyone enough who helped us as new parents making the transition. Overall, it felt like we were priority. There was one thing that we weren't overly too happy about but in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter as much as all the help and care we received and it was likely an honest mistake. Thank you kindly to all those who helped and will continue to help. :)
Thank you for great care! My husband was admitted last week for the night and everyone from the staff in the Emergency Room to the floor he was admitted on (4 Main) was absolutely incredible. My husband and I are both employees at the hospital and we were very proud and appreciative by the care that we received. Thank you for treating us like your family. �
