The clinic was developed to be different - in a good way - in terms of access to comprehensive primary care, with a broad-based interprofessional team that includes Dietitian, Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Social Worker, Family Practice Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians and administrative support. Professional, thorough and pleasant staff. I am thankful that I was selected for this clinic, and hope it is never shut down. Patient attendance at this clinic is voluntary; dissatisfied clients can always leave and go back on the waiting list.
I felt the quality of care is not what's promised on the website. The NP assigned to me is often rude and seems uncaring. She regularly brushed off the concerns I brought forward and made me feel belittled. The clinic promotes itself online as offering trauma-informed, comprehensive support, but what I encountered didn’t at ALL reflect what was advertised.
