Very please with the customer service I received from Alan P. in building materials today.. I went in with a specific product in mind, we found it and I indicated how much I needed. It could have ended there with a sale, no questions asked. But after talking about my project with me, Alan was able to recommend a different, comparable product for HALF PRICE. I now have more money in my reno budget to complete more projects. I appreciate this immensely, and will be back to Menards as our projects continue.
I now know why people are shopping on line. customer service is dead. I needed help with a lock they had keyed and was not working and was given all kinds of bs why it didnt work. have ordered a lock set on line and will do my own from now on and make as many purchases s possible on line.
Don't provide Veterans Discount & a neighbor parks one of their delivery trucks in the middle of a intersection in front of his house against park rules.
The money saved on lumber isn't worth the hassles at Menards. Recently I placed a phone order. It wasn't until it arrived on the job site did we know that the employee rang in the wrong items. It cost me money to get it to the job site and It'll cost me money to return it to the store. Menard's manager admits that it was their mistake and acknowledges that their mistake is costing me money, yet refuses to make it right. Instead he offered to make it up to me "next time."
I was very sad that no one cared after I told two separate employees about the water Spicket's out on the lawn was broken by the landscaping company and water is gushing out watering the parking lot instead of the grass and I told the young lady name on tag Victoria at the security desk exit area by the pebbles section also I told The flower shop area employee also and he did not seem to care either it is sad that we are wasting so much water when other places need it in the country!!!!!
I would have to say poor customer service... I asked an older gentleman to help me and my elderly mom and clearly he was sick because he kept coughing... He just pointed somewhere across the store and sent me on my way. After that I had to ask a cashier to help me or at least find someone to help me and she seemed mad that I spoke to her, then she finally asked someone else to help me and that person told me where to go and there was nothing but a cement wall there.
