Wonderful place to shop for home improvement materials and tools.
We ordered a paneled fence and had to exchange 5 damaged panels. They not only pulled stock from another store from a brand new skid, delivered it to our house for free and even asked another employee to meet the driver there to help unload and reload as I have physical limitations that prevented me from lifting the panels myself when they arrived (my husband was unavailable to assist at the time). Bought a snow blower. Wrong place to do that. 2 months later parts falling off. Nearest authorized service center to me is amost 30 miles one way and the people who do warranty work are not the most friendly and don't seem to welcome the work. Not so happy and not really saving big money.
Spend alot of money here. Went today, fire logs we're mispriced, refused to uphold the misprice(under Michigan law you have to) so I walked out and went to Lowe's. Got the nails, kindling and a case of 6 3.5 pound firelogs for less then the two fire logs you were trying to charge me for. Name brand at that. Some of your employees need to learn the phrase customer service
This is a horrible lying piece of crap store . We have bought a lot of stuff from here we set up a delivery for our last load of building material paid $69 have it delivered and then they try to charge me a additional $100 on top of the $69 for delivery fees for something that we've already told him what we want it before we even purchased . Avoid this store at all coast!!
Though the prices are better here than at Lowe's, I avoid Menard's because of the sales people that they allow to walk around the store. They prowl around the store, trying to catch you alone and then try to sign you up for Dish Network or some other ridiculous product/credit card. I do not understand this tactic at ALL. I can't imagine that it is successful that often. And in the process, you are making your customers feel extremely uncomfortable.
