As a veteran & patient at Memphis VA, I find the facility deplorable. From the parking lot, with very limited designated disabled parking & overall poor condition, through the "new" main entrance destruction and a disgusting lobby, it's no wonder you have the lowest VA rating. I must say your employees are excellent, and I am very happy with my medical care. But something must be done with the facilities.
Received excellent care this past weekend when I had to take my 86 yr old Dad to VA ER Saturday afternoon with abdominal pain. Took a while to get appendicitis diagnosis & a room, but once we did Dr's, surgeons, nurses & staff took fast, excellent care of us. Got discharged yesterday afternoon & he's still not complaining with any pain from the laparoscopic appendectomy!! (Just his mouth & throat where incubated). Floor 3 Ward F was great & very clean! Thank you for taking good care of us!!🇺🇸
Terrible place to go on a Saturday . went to er with. My brother. Very unprofessional nurses. Playing on phones. And whatever else. Patients are not a priority. Only 2 Drs. . went in at 11:30. Got out at 7:00 pm
For our visit yesterday, the facility, clinic staff, and providers were outstanding. We were seen on time and treated in a friendly and professional manner. Now, if you could just get that parking garage finished!
This is a disgrace to Veterans. This hospital needs to be investigated.
Fine with me, haven't had any problems been going there for years.
