I saw this doctor in the past and after waiting 4 weeks after making an appointment in March, I received a call from the office that the doctor is out of the office this week now and I can not schedule an appointment to see him for another 4 weeks until mid-April. I asked to speak with the office manager and was told she would call me back. I still have not heard from the office manager for over 4 days. On March 15, 2022 I went to Citrus Memorial Hospital ( now HCA) in Inverness, Fla for a total right hip replacement. My surgeon was Dr. Eric Hirsch, Citrus Orthopedics in Crystal River, FL. When in the recovery room it was obvious to the PT nurse and myself that I had no feeling or control of my right leg, I could not walk or lift it at all. 04/05/2022 Dr. Plate, I hope you read this review because you may very well be a great surgeon, but you either lack communication skills or you simply see your patients as a number or another statistic. My husband of 54 years went in for surgery a year ago today. I said goodbye to him that day never to see him again, never to see him come back home. 5+5+5. There are not enough stars to give ROMEO. precious soul. Very attentive and soft spoken. This gentleman really cared for me. I would’ve walked out if he had not attended to my need. I was VERY VERY ANGRY that I was treated in the way I was from one of the nurses. I passed out at sprouts farmers market. Was backing scooter up and the bike fell over on me. Dr very nice and so Good but office need more training. Every time call-office answered not even saying hello only “ dr office please hold” and waiting for ever and after long time hang up. Or when answered they tell you dr dont have appt until a month 🤨

I was diagnosed by Dr. Poon in Hollywood Florida with a deadly uncommon bacterium called Pantoea Agglomerans. It is causing skin rashes on my body that turn into ulcer, a yellow vaginal discharge, blood in my Urine, breathing problems like pneumonia, arthritis, meningitis of the brain and gastric ulers.
