RecommendedI would like to thank the staff of memorial hospital for their treatment of myself when I was admitted to the emergency room for acute pancreatitis. Especially the nurses on the fifth floor who took such good care of me for the last five days.
My prescription of memorial hospital has been totally changed as someone who has always went to Baptist hospital since 1980. The staff thought the hospital has been great from the Er to the floor even to the chief has been the best the care and compassion that the staff have for their patients is remarkable the staff of the 5th floor are just awsome. Thank you for everything you all have done for My family and changing my prescription.

my sister has been waiting for hours for a doctor to explain where her husband is. He had hip surgery this morning & has never been returned to family. Dr came & said "we cracked the thigh but will band to make it right" "It will be ok". took til now badgering nursing to be told his BP was unmanageable & he has had 3 transfusions & will be taken to ICU sometime tonight. They won't let her see him?????? She is really upset.... can't someone help

For those of you unfamiliar with aortic dissection, the inner lining of the main arterial passageway leaving the heart and supplying the rest of the body with oxygenated blood - tears apart. I was lucky that Dr. Nathan Bates at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville was on call back in 2011. Im one of the lucky ones who has a clickety clanky mechanical aortic valve, dacron ascending aorta & a new lease on life! Cheers to Memorial Hospital ER team! Still kicking!
