Great place nice staff great service great experience
Mel’s is a Tampa icon. The quality of the food is incredible and always consistent. You can’t go wrong with a warm, poppyseed bun. As a child to now, one of my favorite parts of going to Mel’s is seeing customers’ travels framed on the walls when they have taken Mel’s memorabilia along. Such a wonderful place.
Absolutely the best hot dogs!! This is one of Tampa’s gems, I’ve been going since I was a little girl and have only had wonderful experiences. We love taking out of town guests for a fun nostalgic local place.
You can’t beat a Mel’s Chicago Dog..: the team is fantastic at Mel’s.. the can do attitude is prevalent with each and every team member.. always a great experience....
Had not been there for a few years, but just moved from South Florida. It was just like I remembered. Got new t-shirts too! Can’t wait to go back

Hear you were out golfing today Mel to bad I missed you. The food is still 5 stars as always. Reminds me of eating hot dogs back in Chicago and my 86 year Mother loved it! Will have to get there sometime when Anjuli is there, however I did meet Jessica today.
Have driven by here for what seems like 20 years and finally stopped in the food is amazing and the staff is wonderful very friendly the young lady at the register was very friendy and extremly helpful no wonder Mels has been around forever
Great food and outstanding staff! Loved it! Definitely recommend a visit.
