I moved to Charleston last semester and I could not be more pleased with my experience at Melrose, which is why I signed a lease to stay at Melrose next year! The apartments are conveniently located close to campus. Some of my favorite features include: washer & dryer in my apartment, having two bathrooms, a balcony, two exercise rooms, free tanning, internet/cable & so much more. After two years of living in the dorms I decided to move into Melrose and Brooklyn Apartments and I have saved Thousands of dollars!! My favorite part of my apartment is the modern style and the crazy amount of space I have. I am an undergraduate student and the walk to campus is easy. The big open floor plan is amazing for when I have friends or family visiting. I have zero complaints from my time here and I highly suggest making this your home!!
RecommendedI absolutely LOVE living at Melrose! As an EIU student the last 4 years, I can honestly say that Melrose is easily my favorite place to live. I regret not finding Melrose sooner. These apartments offer a home away from home; with an extremely comfortable setup and living area. I love the size of my room, being a "room-body" but this apartment makes me want to hangout at the large island and do my grad school work. I really enjoyed my stay here. The convinience of the amenities and location is beyond what I expected. The people in the office are also pleasant and very helpful.

I loved living at Melrose on Fourth! I lived there for a year and a half during my senior year and it was perfect! I don't know what I liked the best: the huge walk-in closets, the tanning beds, or the island in the kitchen for entertaining. Everything was beautiful and clean. If I ever had a problem, I got in touch with someone quickly and it was fixed. I miss living here!

I loved living here the past 2 years. You can make these apartments feel like you are just at home they are so comforting ! The workout rooms are super convenient too !
I've live in the off campus house through Melrose and Brooklyn Heights and I could not have been happier! I've fallen in love with our house. Anytime somebody new comes over they immediately comment with this is the nicest off campus house they have ever seen.
