30% Fee Increase With No Warning On 8/14/22 Republic Services increased our fees by about 30% without any warning. Our amount was previously $167.04 and is now $206.97 with no change in service. I wont be purchasing any more bulk pickup tags from Republic, and will also petition the ************** **** to terminate their contract with Republic as our city has had awful service with large item pickup. Multiple calls with promises that the item would be picked up by 7pm that day and its been a week now. One ****** resident had their item on their curb for 3 weeks. a really costly service provider. called to cancel service because republic has gotten so uncompetitive. Service rep was rude and I cold barely understand him. They also charge $30 to pick up their container. WOW - wish I could give less than one star.

Service for pick up is great. However once we all got talking about our bills. We had bills ranging in price from$135?to mine which is 295.. several different prices. After a few phone calls mine was lowered. Think I should have been reembursed for previous bills. We all have same size cans, same day pick up so why is one bill 135 and mine 295. I guess I am at beginning of the street so I should have the biggest bill. Ripoff!

This company is horrible. Unfortunately the City I recently moved too recommended them as they contract with them. I had used Republic years ago and had my doubts, but called to sign up for their service anyway, being new to the area and unaware of any other services. I was charged $150 to start services and deliver cans for trash and recycle. Three weeks into picking up our trash, they already missed a pick up. I was a customer for over 20 years. I sold my home in May if 2022. I promptly paid EVERY BILL online and early. I am currently owed $66 in refund-I was told a check was mailed that I never received from June. A manager looked into it and said would get that check canceled and a new one issued in August. I was told check was issued august 17 but 2 weeks later have not received it-I was told very rudely on the phone that we dont control the mail. Its crazy how much we pay for trash pick up and on more then one occasion they didnt pick up our trash, I called and they claim they will have the truck come out well not. How do they pick up one side of the street and not the other. I also asked in the beginning for a bigger trash can then what I had they gave me the *********** and not the trash one, told me now I have to pay 50 dollars which I shouldnt. They are a bunch of liars.

Missed trash pickup on 8/24 and 8/31. Called daily, on hold for nearly an hour, with call back nearly as long. Have estimated 12 calls since 08/25. Each time I spoke with a rep, or supervisors, all promised to reschedule a pickup "no later than ..." My trash container is now covered in maggots at the end of the drive next to the sidewalk where families or children walk. This is a city contract with ***************, which my tax dollars pay for. I have a business and my bill everything month has been substantially going up. The last two months 20$/month increase each month. I recently called to cancel my service and go with a less expensive company that has just arrived in our small town.
