I am here now, wth pneaumonia, so bad, my specialists are testing the culture samples. My son Sean, grandsons Garrett and Xavier, visited me today and yesterday, what a treat. my pulmonary specialist has completed the bronchoscopy as our battle has been difficult, Now i am taking a different antibiotic, aided with steroid I.V. injections, and we will receive test results tomorrow so prayers are welcome, Every slight event would drop my oxygen level and bring terrible pain in my shoulders, slow to return to acceptible. I had the best experience at this ER last evening. I had gone to the DR earlier that day and I was still excruciating pain. I decided to go to the ER and in less then 2hrs I was sent home with little to know pain. They were very friendly and and very fast I am so glad I decided to go there. Thank you thank you thank you to you all.
One of their ER doctors still thinks the rabies treatment is 40 shots in 40 days. Tried to cite the CDC on that really out of date information. All around, their billing department is incompetent. From the estimation of what is due to them recording payment from the insurance company to what they send to their billing TPA...really terrible. Blue Cross shouldn't have to re-send a copy of an EOB to your TPA to get everyone on the same page. You should send the right paperwork in the first place.
My 3 babies were all delivered at Medical City (Previously Denton Regional).
My friend is at this hospital right now and is being denied pain meds yet again because they're too busy with other patients. This hospital is understaffed resulting in negligence. Trauma in particular.
