If you want zero continuity of care i.e. doctors do not communicate with each other or with the family then this is the place for you. Doctors contradict each other when you finally get any information from them. No information about current condition, next steps, treatment plans, etc... and this is in ICU!!!! I can't believe that Medicare/Medicaid are funding this hospital and that it has passed any certs from the joint commission. I was in here a few years ago and it was great. Went to the ER for a headache that wont go away and has turned in to a migraine. Denton regional the front desk lady was so unprofessional! I went in with what was going on and she out loud said I was there for drugs so I don't feel I got the best care I could have because all they thought I wanted was drugs and yes me and my aunt heard her say that! Been treated there several times, and always had the best of care.
One star is too much. Another horrible experience! Go to Presbyterian if you want actual medical care. Come to Medical City Denton if you want to be treated like a idiot including rolled eyes and snarky attitudes.

I came in on a walker couldn't breathe Immediately got a wheel chair a direct was directly admitted by to vitals were taken EKG was performed lab was drawn Chest X-ray all they care was fantastic staff was great always kept me well informed love the care and treatment I received there.

Never been anywhere like it in my entire life. Staff are polite but show no signs of urgency was there 6 hrs they were unable to get a vein.they think it's a virus ? nobody seemed to be in charge and unwilling to make a decision c'mon hospital people's life's are on the line

My Grandfather went into surgery and they have wonderful nurses taking good care of him. It's a good place and wonderful to family members.
