Last night my mother's doctor had us bring my mother in to Medical City Dallas ER. He wanted her to be admitted to push some fluids and help get her hydrated and other things. Within 15 or 20 minutes we were made aware that she was in for the fight of her life. The point of this tweet is to give a shout out to the ER trauma team that was duty last night (01/25/15). My thyroidectomy on Monday went well, but because my throat had been constricted by my thyroid for weeks, the throat tube left me unable to communicate. I arrived in recovery about 10:30 a.m. They couldn't find me a room until 5:00 p.m. The problem was care stopped at about 1: 00 p.m. They closed the curtain to my cubicle. This is an awesome hospital with a fantastic staff. The rooms are beautiful and service was great. I would not want to go to any other hospital...

I ended up at Medical City Dallas Children ER today with my 7 month old after attempting to take him to a local urgent care. I wanted to let u know the care we received was top notch. With in minutes we were warmly greeted by a nurse with true concern for my son. She quickly had him brought to a room given her concern of RSV from a simple glance she gave through the window.
