I do not and will not recommend this hospital. They do not have any sense of urgency with their patients or bedside manners. When the nurses are called to help with using the bathroom or pain they take at least 30 mins to come and still with no sense of urgency. My mother fell out of the bed trying to get to the bathroom and because she couldn't wait for them to come she hit her head. The doctors run tests and do not give any results. Horrible horrible experience for cancer patients and they feel like guinea pigs. Do better!... read more
We received terrific care at Medical City Dallas on several occasions. The care was terrific and what a fantastic group of caregivers!
This corporation treats patients as a number, a dollar sign, really. The main goal of a hospital should be outstanding patient care. However, the goal of this hospital is entirely financial. They are always under staffed. As a result, patients do not get the quality care they deserve. Employees are treated poorly and there is a large amount of turnover. Bring change for vending machines. Bring your own food. Prepare to pay to park. Rooms in L&D are small. Baylor is much better.
Don't come here with chest pains.... I've been here over 4.5 hours and still not in a room.... come here with a little cough or wrap around your ankle and they put you right in.
In February 2016, I was admitted to medical city Hospital for stroke like symptoms. The people in the emergency room get a fantastic job, and then I was admitted to a room. When I was admitted to my room, I was asked by staff members if I had any allergies I told them that I did, that I was allergic to onions. The next morning when I ordered my food I can explain to the lady on the phone that I was allergic to onions. Staff is sooooo god here! They are the most compassionate group of people.
I can't believe how your staff treated my mother last night!! Our family is extremely angry, and we’d like for everyone to know what has occurred and what to expect when seeking medical treatment at Medical City of Dallas. My mother is the caretaker for my 96 year old grandmother and has been staying with her night and day since she was admitted last Friday.
