It is a seeming simple product and service, but it is well-thought out, and must be reassuring to other people who use it. I forget some days. But, I have had experiences in which I lost almost all the strength in my arms and legs. I could have used this then. My disease is Peripheral Neuropathy. So, since it is a progressive disease, I expect I will be hanging my Medical Care Alert more and more often. I have referred several families for a medical care alert. Excellent product. Knowledgeable support.
They are very quick to respond and have dealt patiently and courtesly with many false alarms.
While I, fortunately, have not needed the service, the customer support people have been very helpful with changes, etc. Would recommend them to anyone.
RecommendedI got this system for my in-laws,they used it from day one.the people at medical care alert were great .my in-laws used it almost on a daily bases for a year.they are now in nursing homes.this system allowed them to stay home one extra year. We have used Medical Care Alert for over three years now for my Mom. It is excellent and very helpful. The customer service is excellent at all times. They are prompt to respond when notified and follow through on all calls and inquires. Several times my Mom has fallen and just can't get up on her own. Medical Care Alert has contacted us and let us to let us know that she is fine but needs assistance. These calls are have provided reassurance for her family and her needs. Thank you Medical Care Alert.
Received unit very quickly after ordering. Set up was quick and easy. My dad has gently fallen twice but it was enough to set off the alarm so if you are wondering if the fall alert works, it does. He was not injured but I was glad to know that the monitor picked it up and called out to him to ask if he was ok and needs assistance. Then an hour later they called to make sure he was doing well.
We got the Medical Care Alert for my mother after she passed out from an infection and was not found right away. The motion detector on the alert is the best. After getting her alert, she tripped and fell inside her house. Immediately she got a call asking if there was a problem. She told them she had fallen but was OK. She then realized she was not able to get up on her own and pushed the button and they immediately responded with help on the way. I was out of town and had just talked to mom.
