Dr. Medford did an outstanding job for me. In my first visit he carefully explained the procedure and its possible complications, answering all questions and outlining all options fully. As it turned out, after my first eye procedure went perfectly, I did develop inflammation which caused me concern… but Dr. Medford immediately responded by prescribing additional medications and seeing me nearly every day. I had Cataract and PanOptix Lens surgery in March/April 2021 and I cannot express enough how thankful I am to Dr. Medford and his Team/Staff. The surgery went very well and I am pleased. I can echo statements of others. Cataract surgery options discussed, procedure well explained both before and during. Dr Medford is an expert practitioner. Ridgedale Surgery Center is a good facility with friendly and caring staff. I have been a patient of Dr. Medford for over 20 years and he has performed multiple procedures during that time and all successful with no downside. His staff in Morristown and W. Orange are excellent!
I recently had Dr. Medford perform cataract surgery on both of my eyes and implant a pan-optic lens in each eye. Each procedure went very smoothly and I had no post-procedure discomfort at all. The improvement in my vision, especially in my right eye was extremely remarkable. I no longer require reading glasses and my distance vision is fine. I needed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. Both surgeries were done by Dr. Medford within a month's time frame. The doctor and Yahoska, one of the staff, were very pleasant and helpful during that time. Dr. Medford really knows his "Stuff". He explained the entire procedure and answered all of my questions regarding the surgery. He made me feel very comfortable which took away my fears. I had cataract surgery on both eyes by Dr Medford . I am very happy with the results and would definitely recommend him to family and friends. The staff at the office and surgery center is also very professional.The only improvement I suggest on the entire experience is that some written pre-op instructions provided by his staff are not quite clear and require some clarification.
Dr. Medford took his time with me to explain all the available options with the advantages and disadvantages of each. He was very caring and re-assuring during each step of the exams and then the surgery itself. Everyone who I had contact with in the office and the surgical center was very caring and professional. The results of the surgeries was great.
Dr. Medford corrected my cataracts completely. I now have crystal clear 20/20 vision.
Dr. David Medford is an outstanding ophthalmologist with excellent surgical skills. He is also a personable and caring individual. He has been my doctor for 15 years. In 2013 Dr. Medford performed cataract surgery on me. It was complex because of my right eye detached retina which took place 9 years earlier. The surgery was very successful resulting in 20/20 vision and limited use of reading glasses. I recommend Dr. Medford without any reservations.
