They did an installation of a water softener. Quoted an hourly rate and estimated the hours. Based on that it should have cost under $500. Final **** over $900. I got to pay for 3 shopping trips by the plumber who was getting instructions on his phone. Had to come back the second day to finish and the 3rd day to fix the leaks. These guys are running a scam!

Extremely disappointed. I purchased a high-end unit for our rental property in 2015, over $16k. I was ***** advised that the thermostat which came with the unit was the **** one that would ever work. Not to mention, that IF it breaks, it will cost $1k to replace; only 5 year warrenty when the furnace/air has a 10 year. ********** sent my request of estimates/installation/service to Mechanical Control Solutions, whom they contract with. *** representative **** was very informative, thorough (and patient) in answering my many questions. I knew exactly how much it would cost (install of **********). Installation was scheduled in a timely manner (just in time before the serious heat came upon us!). On May 19, 2021, we called MCS to our house to fix a leak in the Master Bedroom shower. After “Juan” left, the shower seemed to be okay. However, on Friday, we noticed it was leaking again. We made numerous attempts to reach someone in their company on Saturday morning to remedy the situation. My husband ultimately got ahold of someone at the company on Saturday morning. RecommendedMichael did a great job again in turning off our heater and starting up our swamp cooler for this year. Laura provided great support in setting up the appointment and keeping us informed. We are a fan of MCS and recommend them wholeheartedly.

MCS was contracted by Home Depot To come and Service our Furnaces. They not only charged us for diagnostic X 2, which I understand, but they took us to the cleaners with a Honeywell Pro 6 Thermostat they installed, charging us $234.00. I checked to find out how much this particular thermostat cost retail and to my surprise it costs $79.95. That means that we were charged many times over! Just had a furnace installed in January. Just trying to start it up for the upcoming cold winter and it’s not working. Have been trying to get someone out for 3 days. They want to charge me $129 for a system less than a year old. Installation was ridiculous. No communication within the company. Cannot recommend this company. This unit cost us almost $7000 and this is the service we can expect?
