If I could give 6 stars I would. Meadowood is the real deal! Amazingly well appointed, set deep into nature amongst so much beauty. The olive trees on approach and the native oaks surrounding the property create a feeling of being held. The rooms are very spacious and the bed so so comfortable. I slept amazing! Food at the restaurant is great and service fantastic.
We got engaged here and the entire experience was exceptional. We booked our stay while it was raining with a sunny day the last day to get the full range of weather- the view out of the picture-frame window from our Oakview Room (no. 3) was spectacular with the treetops and especially the fog in the morning. We loved our stay at the Meadowood this weekend ! Service was on point, the room was beautiful and clean, I don’t give 5 stars for 3 reasons - we were welcomed by a not very friendly staff person upon arrival, not a welcoming drink or treat, the bathrooms at the lobby were filthy and had to go to the pool bathroom, kids running all over the pool as the family pool was not working. - Our room wasn’t ready at 3:00 pm when we arrived, so we had to hang out at the restaurant, they did offer some drinks to make it up, anyways, we... read more
