We have a multi-cat household and a dog. Six years ago we added a young female cat to the group. Pinky, the oldest cat, was very anxious and unhappy about the arrival of Phoebe. She attacked Phoebe. We had Dr. Reich visit and assess the situation in the home where she could see normal behaviors as opposed to at the vet's office. Dr. Reich prescribed the appropriate anti-anxiety drug and within a few months, Pinky was much calmer and we were all a lot happier.
