Copied from my google review: Stayed in room 708. I’ve never written a negative hotel review but I am so disappointed with this one. It has potential to be a cool place, the breakfast and staff were nice but the room was run down and nasty. Hard bed, weird neighbors slamming doors throughout the AM, ants on the toilet paper, and musty uncomfortable rooms. We’ve stayed at a motel 6 that was more comfortable. Saw the sign for breakfast buffet went in and ordered 2 eggs, bacon sausage, hash browns, and they were excellent, fresh, and hot..
We have been here since Tuesday for evacuation, and I have to say the staff is really friendly. The man at the pool, I believe he said his name is Orlando, was amazing with my loud toddler. I'd love to see him get a nice chair like the Beaumont location! The man up front at night that has been at the same location since the 80's definitely knows his hospitality! Thank you guys for making us feel like friends!
We evacuated from Groves, Texas because of the possible devastation from hurricane Laura... With unsettled minds and racing fears... It is such a relief to be treated so kindly... It started from the phone call I made to book the stay... I was in tears I couldn't even speak.. The gentleman's exact words to me were.. My husband and I stayed there for our anniversary a couple of weeks ago and were absolutely blown away! We upgraded to the "romance package" and were greeted by rose petals on the bed spelling "Happy Anniversary", a bottle of Champaign, and chocolate covered strawberries when we entered the room. Thank you for making our Anniversary so special! We highly recommend the hotel.

Stayed here for 4 nights for a private event. Every single area I went to was clean and nothing looked outdated. The hotel bar and breakfast buffet area were spacious with friendly staff and delicious food and drinks. The suites as well as the regular rooms were both very spacious and again, clean. The pool felt wonderful during the day with the Texas heat. The only negative thing I can say is there's not a handrail at the steps of the pool, so for someone like me who has bad knees, it made it difficult getting in and out of... read more
