Have consistently had great service from McCullough. Service people are always friendly and thoroughly professional, clear and detailed in explanations. We highly recommend McCullough.
The McCullough Service Tech named ***** arrived on time for a preventive maintenance checkup of the heating system on our Carrier HVAC unit. He wore protective foot covering and he was thorough and gave me a report on the unit. I had purchased a fresh filter so he installed that while servicing the unit. In addition, McCullough submitted my ******************* discount for having the unit serviced which saved me $40. RUN AWAY!I had a great experience in 2014 and decided to trust them again when I moved back to ****** now.Just spent a good amount of money with them, but the main problem is not solved. My home can only reach 67F by 5AM. The Condenser is brand new, so I imagine the airhandler was the issue, so I asked McCullough for help to solve the problem.Since they are the specialist, my expectation was to do a full analysis of the problem, however, they took the easiest path and just replaced the unit. $350 for 20 minutes of work = Over $1000/hour. Warranty covered motor replacement. When I complained they talked about travel time and diagnostic time. But I also paid $99 for an AC checkup where they diagnosed the issue. My electrician charges by the number of hours they are at the house. And even then only $130/hour. I recommend that you shop around.
Wasted 48 hours waiting for this company to get back to me about an appointment -- they verified my address and seemed ready to send someone out. I mentioned the 2 year old system being in my mobile home and they were ready to hang up on me. She just kept saying "we don't do mobile homes". Thanks for wasting my time!
