I was surprised to get a request for feedback after having my requests ignored. I purchased a car from McCarthy's in March 2014 and traded-in my used car towards my purchase. My trade-in was never registered and I was stuck with a bill for over $400 from the DMV. Secondly, my trade-in was not credited to my loan properly. My calls went unanswered until August when the dealer frantically contacted me to sign over DMV documents for my trade-in that I had already signed at time of sale. Excellent experince. I think it was the fastest car purchase ever. One bit of advice to anyone buying a used Mini.....Make sure you get 2 keys and that they work. We left with one key and a credit of $150.00 for the second key. It took us two trips to Camarillo,(weekdays..had to take time off of work) and just about $350.00 for the key and the programming of the key. Needless to say, that was one expensive key. An FYI for you guys at McCarthy's too!
I really like different types of cars and trucks. I didn't buy a car yet however, I will once I'm ready. Not pushy and let me search with out being "sold". Thanks
So my young adult daughter and I go car shopping and she purchases a very nice newer car at McCarthys. Sticker is placed in her front window and she's told her plates will be mailed to her. Months go by and her licence plates don't arrive. She receives a notice from DMV.. says she needs to pay registration...Hmmm...she paid this in purchase of vehicle....McCarthys only sent $15 to DMV for a title transfer...watch them!!! They're crooks!!!
