They Need a New Office Manager Disclaimer: My review is based solely on the front office, and not at all on the veterinarians or the technicians. Mrs. I would only take my animals there for cheap vaccines. I have gone there off & on for about 8 years. Reception is ALWAYS rude- never smiles! Dr. McLeod is kind of a jerk. When our cat was having trouble having kittens 8 years ago, we did not yet have a vet & took her there because it was close to home. We let Dr. McLeod know we had a 4 year old girl at home anxious to know the kittens would be ok. He reaches in and pulls out 4 very premature kittens, not breathing- AND STARTS THROWING THEM IN THE TRASH!!! After he tosse... read more
Dr. McLeod is AWESOME!! We have been taking our cats to Dr. McLeod for YEARS now and all of our animals are now geriatric. About 3 years ago one of our female cats had a tumor and Dr. McLeod removed and did workup on it and found it wasn't cancer. He is a no muss, no fuss type vet. If you are looking to be coddled then go elsewhere. He tells you straight and no bull. We had to put one of our animals to sleep about 5 years ago and he didn't even charge for the euthanasia just the office call and called it a day.
Best all around veterinarian I have been going to see Dr Mcleod for over 4 years now. He is very kind and understands the animals. I recently had to put one of my dogs down and they were so wonderful! Every visit has been kind and focuses on the pet, not the owner, which I find much more reassuring than those fancy places who cater to the owner. I will never go anywhere else again. Julie Munselle
Unacceptable!! I rarely feel the need to write a review on a business. However, my recent transactions with Mcleod Animal clinic in Round Rock have compelled me to do so. I will say that I have been using this vet since my dog was a puppy, and up until recently they have been relatively decent. The clinic is definately a no frills kind of place, but because of this, you also don't end up paying for the frills. For regular everyday types of things; checkups, annual shots, etc. they are fine. GREAT EXPERIENCE! Had a wonderful experience with this vet! Dr. Jill was so nice, and great with our dog!! Everyone in the office was very nice!
One of the Best Vests Ive taken my 5 year old pitbull here all her life and every time they were real considerate about her and what i need to do to have her live a long healthy life.
No-Nonsense Pet Doctor Dr. McLeod has diplomas and awards posted right in the waiting room for all to see. He is a no-nonsense, to the point veteran Aggie Vet who's been there for 30 years.
