I've been coming to Max's since the late 80s, it was the place to go late night, late dinner... It was lively and fun and clean and the food was good. It was totally the crowd to be around. And I still think back to those days of the music playing and the staff singing show tunes and Opera pieces. We Came in without reservation and we didn't wait very long. Portions were huge and service was fast. Will visit again soon, this time will make a reservation :-)
The portions are huge! The drinks are great. The food is very good. Sometimes the live music makes you want to drink more - and sometimes the service doesn’t make that possible, which is a shame, because if you have to listen to someone sing “You Fill Up My Senses” by John Denver in a key that they haven’t managed in 15 years, something from their well stocked bar is definitely in order.
