Great Place Maxbauer Market has a great small town market atmosphere. This is a perfect place to get choice meat, perfect for grilling, a special night out or even your everyday meats like hot dogs. A highly recommended meat market.
Quality meats This is a great meat market with an old school approach. The prices are excellent and the beef is extremely fresh and well worth every penny. I also love the small town feel that comes with any trip inside

This is by far the best meat market of all time! Amazing products and even better costumer service. They are so kind and generous and care about your experience as a customer!! The owner even gave me and my boyfriend some amazing jerky on the house!
Excellent staff and wonderful service! The soups and jerky is beyond delicious, I highly recommend if your in the traverse city are that you stop in to Maxbauers.
The absolute best meat market in the continental United States of America, I strongly recommend that every man, woman and child ( or whatever you identify as) should take the trip to Traverse City just to go to Maxbauers. Say hi to Mark he’s the best, and his wife Stephanie is not so bad either.
I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone! we tried the double-smoked barbeque bourbon snack sticks and they were amazing. Really well balanced and my wife and I enjoyed them. Will definitely be in soon to get things for the holidays. You guys rock!
I have to take a minute to give credit where credit is due. I just had the best customer service experience I have probably ever had. It was seriously unbelievable and made me smile. It was my first time in Maxbauers (I know😳) the guys behind the meat counter were overly helpful (with ingredients) I probably sounded like one of those ridiculous people on some “diet” but they didn’t hesitate once to offer up some ideas, and pre package me some meat Marinaded in sugar free stuff!
