Since that day, weve been committed to providing our guests with delicious, all-American food & friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere the whole neighborhood can enjoy. Weve grown over the years, but always remain true to what made us successfuldelivering a great guest experience. After all, Max & Erma wouldnt have it any other way.

Watch your credit card statement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Apparantley it is perfectly okay to apply their own tip for a pick-up order. Thankfully we have original receipt to dispute with. They applied a 20% tip on a to-go order without authorization. Order was incorrect as well, 3 of the 4 meals were incorrect.
Such poor management at this location. It is difficult to give a good review to a hostess that pointedly ignored the fact several large tables were not bussed during our 25 minute wait. At the German Village location, hostesses regularly assist the entire crew to keep the restaurant running. This hostess said since it was a holiday, they were busy and she could only do what she was told to do. Hmm, apparently management is not able to staff appropriately. I won't return to this location.
Horrible place. Hostess said 15 minutes and 25 minutes later everyone else was being seated but my party of 6. Claimed it was a holiday but they were clearly understaffed. Noone bussing tables. Plenty of open booths but not enough staff for the tables that everyone had 5 tables?! Poor service. I would NEVER tell anyone to go there.
We stopped for lunch while looking for homes for sale. Had the salad and sandwich. It was really good and would recommend Max and Erma's. We moved from Kansas and are definitely considering Pickerington,
