The best general contractor in San Diego We hired Maurer Construction last year to build a wood deck and stairs in the front of our house and had Bill back out in July to build us a custom wood patio deck cover and just like last year, they gave us a solid bid, great communication and cleaned up daily. I canât say enough, fabulous work. I wish we had found them before the kitchen remodel was done, what a nightmare.
They are the BEST We hired Maurer Construction to remodel and re-floor two rooms in our house, as well as refinishing our fireplace. Throughout the project, they made communication with us a priority and made sure that the final result was exactly what we wanted, and done at a price with which we were comfortable. Awesome communicator Bill is a great communicator. He not only was the first contractor to get us a bid and respond to us, he consistently followed up via text, email and phone to ensure that we got what we needed. That was especially amazing since some other contractors wouldn't even call us back!! We decided to actually sell the house instead of remodel so in the end didn't move forward with Bill, but I was so impressed with his follow-through. I would definitely want to work with him in the future.

The best remodeling contractors in San Diego. Maurer Construction did a wonderful job with my bathroom remodeling project. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a general contractor. They were helpful in every sense of the word from picking the right tub to what would be the most practical choice for flooring. We are now working out the plans for a kitchen remodel and maybe the whole house.
