Matt's does not disappoint. I can't say in my 4 times there I have ever ordered off the menu. One of the daily specials always interests me and its always amazing. The servers are great - atmosphere is beautiful. Highly recommend this local gem.
I go to Matt's Red Rooster Grill once a year when my friend and I visit Flemington for our annual girls weekend. The food is always excellent. The service is, as well. Matt is always there and welcomes people. Yesterday we thoroughly enjoyed our favorite mushroom soup. We shared the grilled romaine salad as well as a veal chop and crab cakes. First time here and will definitely be back!!! Our waitress was also wonderful! We sat upstairs for a more quiet atmosphere but next time trying downstairs. Everything was great!

Matt better hope I never win the lottery because if I do I am taking his chef to be my own personal one! Can't say enough great things about this fabulous restaurant..the food, the service, the atmosphere and even the music is top notch!
