Dr. Okekpe was great! She was kind, calm and put my mind at ease about potential complications. She knew exactly what I was dealing with and how we could work together for a successful birth. I highly recommend this group!
I was sent here by my OB because of my "advanced maternal age" and hypertension. I was super nervous because of the bad reviews, but I've not had an unpleasant experience here. Dr. AlSamSam has been kind and is the first doctor to not make my anxiety worse. The nurse and the ultrasound tech are friendly too. I actually wish I could switch to this office for all my prenatal care because the doctor at my regular OB stresses me out and causes me major anxiety and high bp every time.
My appointment was canceled at the last minute, and I was told I could either wait a month to see the original doctor or meet with someone else online. I chose the latter, but the experience was extremely disappointing. During the online consultation, the doctor frequently yawned, which made me feel she was disengaged and not focused on my concerns. My appointment was at 1:30 I was in the office by 1:40 there was barely any parking and I am 9 months pregnant so it’s hard to walk as is! When I get there the lady asked for my name and when I said it she said “ oh they just came up and we can’t do you’re appointment today” when I asked why she said they are running behind and you are running late ( grace period is 15 minutes ) it states so on there checkin etc and also if they are running behind wouldn’t me being late help ?
