5 years ago, my husband was transferred to Mass General from NH for treatment of IPF. Within a month, he had been placed on and moved up the transplant list, and received a life-saving lung transplant. Since then, he (and our whole family) has received nothing but the most professional, expert and compassionate care from everyone at this hospital.
No comparison. hands down the best in the WORLD. my family thanks you for your wonderful work.
The care, love, and passion they have for the patients is wonderful to see. They take care of my elderly mother as if she was their own mother. I truly appreciate this hospital and highly recommend it.
Doctors never return my calls. I waited a month with no follow up. I called. Waited a week and was told the doctor got my message. Two days later I call again and am told the doctor is out of town and that he'd call me Monday. Here it is the end of Monday and no call. What is a patient to do in this situation? I went to the ER and got a mixed bag of quality of service. Some of the people were terrific and others I was confused on their methods of treatment. I came in because I thought I broke my toe and had a bruise on my thigh. My doctor had gripped my thigh tightly, down to my shins, then my foot where the injury was. I found this pretty unethical because if you are unsure if the patient has a broken bone the last thing you want to do is grip it tightly and injury it more. Also, if we can tell that my thigh is bruise you don't h... read more
Incredible care, very grateful to the talented doctors, nurses and staff. Lucky that i live in Boston and have one the best medical care in the world close by.
The staff is great they really care about there patients. The food is good my experience was all & all good.
Watched a friend die and while I sat there blood poured out her mouth. The nurses came in and my wife said something about all the blood coming from her mounth and said she was concerned about our friend choking on her own blood. They nurses tried to show my wife how to clean the blood from her mouth. Not for nothing but we were there to sit by our friends side while she died. We were not there to do the job of the staff by cleaning the blood out of her mouth show she didn't choke to death on it. It was hard enough to sit th... read more
