I am so grateful and just loved all of the doctors and nurses at MGH. I had the most serious condition and everyone on the teams made me feel so cared for. I was rushed in to emergency, then had a procedure with a day stay, then back again for elected surgery and not once did I ever feel like I was going through this alone. My wife has a rare disease erythromylalgia and her doctors wanted her to go to mass general emergency room because both her feet were flared hot red swollen burning. Figuring mass general is the better hospital in the area to address severe things as such. Her medical bracelet was ignored that she has to be in regulated temperature of 63 degrees and her limbs need cooling and elevation. They didn't care. In still here. The nursing staff and radiology is great. Food is a little iffy but it's edible. So far good.
MGH is one of the best hospitals . I have gotten to know several nurses and doctors , technician, and many others over the last couple of years . Neil has been taken care of with outstanding care and as his spouse they have also made me very comfortable.
I Thank God For This hospital I would not be alive I had breast cancer they saved my life the doctors nurses my team is awesome I still go for all my checked ups and everyone is awesome ❤️👍
My younger brother just came up from Florida after coming down with a disabling neuropathy disease. For the last 6 months in Punta Gorda Florida area he has been to different hospitals 5 times and pc doctor as well as neurological specialist (supposedly best in that area) only to have $30,000.00 charged to insurance of which he has a hefty deductible and no diagnosis! If you are seeking care here and can find it anywhere else go there instead. No sense of urgency, No communication, No customer service, and No one cares. After their negligence and carelessness led to furthering the damage in my body. The doctors charged with my care almost killed me by miss prescribing a medicine they gave me to take at home. The Foot and Ankle Center needs work. The website says initial visits scheduled within 2 weeks. This is nowhere near true, try a month or more. (Which is a long time when you literally can't walk due to pain). It is also not possible to call and get a human being to speak with. Beyond frustrating.
