My sister is there the nicest most attentive nurses and Doctors
Waited over 10 hours to get a bed, they 999 beds there and all full wow
A 10-20 minute out patient surgery scheduled for 2 PM was not performed until approximately 5:00, so an older patient that had had nothing to eat or drink since the day before was further delayed. As a friend, rather than family, I did not feel empowered to advocate for my friend, had I been family the staff would have known of my displeasure with their lack of communication and the unexplained delay. Right now, their rating is a "2" dependent on downward adjustment on the recovery.
Friendly courteous staff. That help you through trying times. With sick loved ones. Waiting and not knowing is the hardest part for the family. The wealth of information and constant updates by the staff were wonderful.
Visited Mass General's ER for the first time last night. My daughter has chronic health issues and was in extreme pain. ER Supervisor said there is nothing they will do for her, told to go home and hopefully the pain will pass in a few days!
I've never been to a hospital that I felt out the patient first until I came to Mass General Hospital. I've switched all my doctors to here!
Have had good and terrible experiences here. Yesterday I had IVIG treatment in the blood transfusion center. The nurses were so unprofessional-- one of them was talking about drinking and picking up guys at the bar with a patient she was clearly flirting with. Then 30 minutes later she states " i better go check on my patient to make sure she's still alive". Then I was given IV zofran and the nurse didn't even get all the medication correctly. Half of it was still in the bottle. I'm a nurse so I know this wasn't given right.... read more

Wonderful experience. Competent and caring staff. Felt like I was in great hands.
