This is the most outstanding Vision center in the state of Maryland! I was extremely pleased with my recent experience and LASIK procedure performed by the amazing, Dr. Sidney Chang. After 10 years of glasses, my vision is 20/15 after a quick and fairly pain-free lasik procedure. Also, Paul Ficken is a legend of optometrical assistantship whose performance was impeccable.
I had LASIK surgery done yesterday afternoon. All the doctors, nurses and technicians are very knowledgeable and friendly. The surgery was fast and couldn't have gone better. At my first checkup after only 18 hours post surgery my vision is 20/15. My wife had her eyes done 3 years ago and had a very good experience as well. Dr Stern and Dr Chang will do a great job for you!

I can't express sufficient gratitude to Dr. Stern for the amazing results of my first cataract surgery. My severe nearsightedness and astigmatisms had deteriorated to the point of increasingly poor distance vision as well as the inability to drive at night. I had the absolute best experience getting Lasik at Maryland Vision Institute. Dr. Chang was exceptional. Not only was he caring and professional, he went out of his was to make sure I was comfortable. The staff was wonderful in explaining the procedure and helping to calm my nerves. I went from 20/600 vision to 20/25 in a matter of minutes and my vision just keeps getting better. Also, Janel, one of the lasik coordinators, was outstanding in making sure I was prepared for before and after the surgery.
