When my daughter and I were in an accident. We were taken back with an hour of time. I was battered, bruised, confused and in pain. My daughter faired better. Still it took awhile to get us back. Once we were back, everything started happening with bloodwork, CT scans and X-rays.
back in july they almost killed my 2 yr old i hate this hospital he was brought in by ambulance for a 105 fever and seizure they sat us in waiting room for 4 hrs b4 even triaging him they refused to do anything but a chest xray and flu swab. nxt day took him to stafford they did nothing 3rd day brought him back and demanded a full work up he was sooooo dehydrated they couldnt even cath him for urine sample. if i wouldnt have put my foot down my aon would have died from dehydration and a bad virus. Well for the short time that I have been here visiting it seems like UR typical hospital. Best part for me is that I'm not the patient.
Exceptional staff, who truly make you feel cared for in all aspects. From the registration staff, the surgical waiting room volunteers, the chaplains, the nurses, the doctors, and staff. We are so grateful for the exceptional medical care, but also the super personal touch from all. Just wow. THANK YOU.
As with any Care Facility it is only good "if" you have a Family member or a care giver who can be the patients advocate in their care....

I have been trying all day to get a hold of the case manager for my mother in law and no one has called me back or emailed me. I also tried three times to talk to the nurse taking care of my mother in law, and no one picks up the phone, the line goes dead every time. MWHC did not even tell me they moved my mother in law to another room and I am the family contact person. Terrible customer service, I guess they just don't care.
It really confuses me when i see bad reviews about Mary Washington. I have never had a bad experience ever. have i had to wait? ofcourse. They work off of a system just like every other hospital and sometimes things run a little slower but i expect that. I also have delivered both of my babies at this hospital and i was treated so well during my stay. i trusted every nurse and actually ENJOYED my stay both times. i felt so cared for and listened to the entire time and i trusted them all with my newborns.
