Just had a successful robot-assisted total knee replacement. Very professional staff...from the receptionist at the registration desk to the security guard to the food workers to the physical therapist to the nurses ( LPNs, RNs) and their assistants to the doctors. My thanks to them all!!!
Never a problem. Always great care, and caring, & bedside manor.
My husband had surgery on his neck. The PACU nurse was extremely rude. It took them 5 hours to get him in his room. I was not kept informed as to why it was taking so long. I had to keep calling to find out what the hold up was. I was told the hospital was full then they had to clean the room. It was a circus. The surgical waiting room receptionist left at her time and nobody relieved her. We were told here is a phone and the number to call and check on our loved ones. My 9 month old received several tests while in the Emergency Room at Mary Washington Hospital. One of the tests came back two days later showing he had an infection that would need to be treated with antibiotics. The results came back on a Saturday and the hospital waited until the following THURSDAY to call and tell me my 9 month old son would need antibiotics to treat the infection. Spine and Rehabilitation Center: The front desk staff completely lacks professionalism, care and should not be permitted to address patients dealing with severe pain. I came in 15 minutes, completely my fault, respectfully apologized. The manner in which I was spoken to was was completely uncalled for. They charge you copays through your insurance even after you paid the copay during discharging from the ER. Even after you have been calling their billing department to have it reviewed and disputed they still send your bill to collections after they tell you multiple times they are going to review the dispute but never do. Don’t go to this hospital if your life depended on it. Go to Spotsylvania Regional or Stafford Regional. Mary Washington is full of crooks.
