A little over 6 months ago my son was takin to Marybridge by ambulance and admitted to the hospital. He was 2 months old. Since then we have stayed 3 more times 2 of them were after surgeries one being open heart surgery and one g tube placed. I spent the first 2 months of my son's life fighting with hospitals and doctors about his breathing and the way he acted to be pushed off and told it's comfort breathing or I was wrong. Yesterday we had to make a trip in to the emergency room at Mary Bridge and we had fantastic care! Yes there was a bit of wait time but there were also kiddos there that needed help faster than us. I highly commend Dr. Sara Ahmed and her fantastic team who helped treat my son. They were caring, supportive and made sure that we understood exactly what was happening. Our son was diagnosed with recurring Pyloric Stenosis, which is quite rare, and thanks to Dr. Yuwono we were finally able to get a diagnosis. Dr Barlow, Dr Osborne and their surgical team were amazing and always kept us posted with everything. We were very well cared for. Every single nurse and Dr on the 6th floor were so amazingly sweet and considerate. Dr Tracy Thomas Kelly was incredible, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to confidently take our son to get treated. ❤️ ~The Biddle Family
We recently had to visit the ER with my 10 month old. The staff from the moment we walked in were super nice and helpful and made our visit stress free. The pediatric nurses were very attentive and compassionate and the pediatrician was phenomenal. I would hands down recommend anyone who needs ER care for a child to go here. Thank you Mary Bridge Childrens Hospital for taking excellent care of my baby!
Thank you very much staff at Mary Bridge for taking care of my diabetic daughter this weekend. Everyone was so nice and accommodating and really helped make her comfortable. The environment was very serene helping a stressful situation. Truly grateful for the knowledgeable doctors and nurses that helped her out of DKA. She is very happy to be home. One thing I was surprised about was how many members of the staff either hadn’t seen a CGM or even know what one is.
