I know for a fact that this hospital, saved my life. and they continue to provide me with stellar service. I can not say enough good things about them,and how GRATEFUL I am to each and everyone of the staff members that I have had dealings with there. I am very happy with the psychology department especially April Hamilton in the HOPE center, who has always opened her door to me, when i was homeless and depressed, up until 5 months later when i was able to tell her how i was blessed to be buying a home. She is the best they have there and i am so glad she deals with depressed and suicidal veterans. I was also happy with the Domiciliary psychologist. Worst place to work..
There's alot in the news as of late about problems with the administration and care at our nation's VA hospitals, I would just like say that I have been nothing but satisfied with the care I have received at the Martinsburg, WV VAMC. I had been pretty sick since last Friday night, finally went to the emergency room there at six am yesterday, blood work, chest x-rays, etc. and was diagnosed with asthmatic bronchitis and a touch of pneumonia was given breathing treatment and prescriptions and was out of there by nine am, the s... read more
