Steak frites was the home runner.
Incredible spot, wood oven adds a unique touch to their menu. Priced as most high end Toronto restaurants are, but Martine’s feels worth it
Very disappointed with our recent visit to Martine’s. My wife and I have been here in the past and loved it, but this experience ruined it for us. We shared an order of oysters and both ended up getting very sick with food poisoning. Because we both got sick, we know for a fact it was the food. It’s a shame because of our previous good visits, but I cannot recommend this restaurant anymore. Buyer beware—do not order the oysters here
The food was amazing, tasty. Our favorite was the chicken liver Pâté and the chicken, juicy chicken. The service was great !
The food was fine, nothing to write home about but everything was fine. The Crudo was average , there was very very little bone marrow in that app, the chicken was overcooked and dry and some was very good so unevenly cooked, pasta and fish were average. But the real issue was the restaurant was literally a sauna, walked out of there drenched. Should have sat on the patio. Not sure how they can serve people in that hot humid and unbearable environment.
