Dr Martinelli replaced my left hip 7 years ago and did a wonderful job; afterwards I resumed ballroom dancing and regularly played golf and other sports. I have seen him for yearly checkups and minor problems; if my other hip needs to be replaced I would absolutely go to him.
Dr. Martinelli conducted a thorough review of symptoms of problems with both knees, including CAT scans. He performed surgery on my left knee, which eliminated the problem. He arranged for associate of his, Dr. Adam, to address potential side effects of the surgery. He addressed the problem with my right knee with in-office treatment. I found Dr. Martinelli to be thoughtful, thorough, and successful in addressing my problems. I recommend him to anyone needing an orthopedist.
All I can say is Dr. Martinelli and his staff are the greatest, would recommend him to anyone .
I have been a patient with Dr. Martinelli for over 20 years & have been blessed. He has always been supportive of me & honest in his assessment of my ortho issues. He has performed surgery on my right big toe bone spur, carpal tunnel left wrist & right knee replacement. I totally trust his diagnoses & recommendations. He is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon...and friend!
Aside from his evident expertise, he was patient, he listened, and he responded to my question/concerns and offered explanations without making me feel that they were silly. I never felt hurried. Most of all, I felt my health was in good hands.
I have been a patient of Dr. Martinelli's for approximately 25 years & 7 surgeries. He is an excellent surgeon, very meticulous & thorough. He is also very personable & takes all the time you need to answer questions & thoroughly explains procedures. He is the only orthopedic surgeon I will go to even though we have moved 2 hours away. I highly recommend him!
Dr Martinelli has done a great job with my full knee replacement and today was my first follow up visit. Highly recommend!
Dr. Martin Ellis did a knee replacement for me. He and his staff took care of business at their office and always took time to answer my questions. His attention at the hospital (Inova Alexandria) was outstanding. I’m still rehabbing, but the progress has been great.
