Dr. Martinelli is a very knowledgeable and personable orthopedic surgeon. He cares about his patients and wants to hear from them when something is wrong or not feel correct with their treatment. My mom’s never recovered well from her first knee surgery earlier in the year with a different doctor. That doctor retired so after a fall we went to Dr Martinelli and he did a great job. Though she is still recovering the struggles are due to her muscle weakness at 84 yrs old nothing due to her surgery. Dr Martinelli’s patience when we visit for after surgery follow-up has been patient and respectful which is really appreciated in dealing with a woman of her age. I highly recommend OrthoVirginia and Dr Martinelli for anyone... read more
