Great spa services but don't get a drink there I went to Mars Venus Spa and received a manicure and pedicure and a massage. I was impressed with the services, especially the massage! However, when I asked for a water it was brought to me in a glass that had lipstick on the ring and there were particles floating in it! I would have expected bottled water in a CLEAN glass when I'm paying so much!
The Best I have been going to Mars and Venus for 4 years now and I have to say without a doubt they are the best! Their entire staff is fantastic and their spa services are top notch. I have very difficult hair to color and Amanda has been there with me through every step and she is the ONLY one that I trust. For the level of service the cost is fair, but for some it may be pricey. But as the slogan says, "I'm worth it!" Just when you throught you were safe from being ripped off... I have been a customer at Mars Venus for the last 3 years and more than once I have felt ripped off but have always given them a second chance. After today I will never step foot in their Spa again! I have always gotten the essential (basic) pedicure which is around $33 but today they upgraded me to the next step for $48 without my knowledge. dont get fooled Yeah they seem real nice and professional, but that is all a big act. I went in for a facial with extractions, and received the total opposite. I was under the understanding that a licensed estatician would be giving me the facial wrong. A hair stylist with a cosmetology license gave me the facial. She was very sweet and fresh out of school. I love it The first time I went to Mars Venus I was greeted as soon as i walked in. The staff was amazing, everyone was so friendly. I got my hair cut and colored by by a master stylist. While i was processing i got to go into a private room where i received a hand massage while i waited. I found this to be a wonderful experience. I truly believe you pay for what you get, and at Mars Venus it's worth every penny. I have never been to a salon like this before and i will recommend it to everyone. Good quality of service, but slow and overpriced I have gone to an Aveda Salons for years but wanted to try this one, as it was closer to my home. I know they are higher priced than most ploces, but not rediculously so. I needed a hair color touchup (I'm not gray so it's an easy one) with 5 foils for highlights, and a trim of my bangs and base line. Normally that takes about an hour and 45 and costs around $160.00
Excellent First time I ever went to Mars and Venus I was very impressed. They offered me a drink and gave me a complimentary chair message which was excellent. I was nice and relaxed for my hard day at work. I will most definitely be back for a second visit!
Five Stars I had a very enjoyable experience. I had an "essentials" manicure and was quite pleased with the service. For the price, I felt I received more for my money than I have paid elsewhere. The staff was very professional and curtious. I was given a tour of the entire facilty, which I found to be very clean and an overall calming environment, especially the spa area. I plan to return, not only for another manicure, but for spa services as well. I would definately recommend this spa.
pricey I think that they do a great job here, I was pleased with the haircut I received but I do feel that they are over priced compared to other places. the staff was really nice and they offered me a drink while I waited. The place is nice and it is clean. I wasn't dissatisfied with the service but the price was a little too much.
