The hotel itself is very nice, rooms are definitely set up conveniently with a full length mirror near the sink and vanity section; laid out nicely. Beds are comfortable and overall very clean. Bottles of water are left in your room daily, which is handy if you need a quick drink in the middle of the night. The staff is superb; very nice and accommodating consistently. Great place, just wish they would have remembered to make up my room on my last day here. I must have slipped through the cracks.
The service is awesome and perfect venue for symposiums or conferences.
Our favorite place. It's been amazing every single time!
My husband was there for a conference, so my sons and I tagged along and did Disney. We had a wonderful time. The boys loved coming back to the hotel to swim and watch the laser show. We could watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom from our balcony at night. Our experience with the staff was mostly with the lifeguards at the pool and they were very friendly! We would stay again in a heartbeat!
I was here for a couple of days for a conference of about 1800+ attendees. The design point is a resort as opposed to a hotel, and that difference makes some differences. Some observations: • It's a very large, multi-building property with much inside and outside space. • Be prepared to do lots and lots of walking. Great family orientated atmosphere with the staff very friendly, kind, and hard working.
I've scrolled through and read a lot of the other reviews of this property prior to posting mine. I travel frequently and stay in Marriott hotels on business. This is not just a hotel, its much more. It is a resort. If you are looking for place to lay your head after running around the parks all day this is not it. This place is huge! It has just about everything you need without having to leave the property. And for all that convenience, it will cost you a little more.
