Always love the Marriott World Center. They would make a killing if they sold pacifiers in the gift shops though.
I’ll kick things off by saying I’m pleased with the spontaneous stop I made with my kids for Dec 30& 31. The pool is terrific- plus two hot tubs and three water slides. Every person I spoke with on the Marriott team (with exception of one), was super kind, helpful and eager to assist (front desk, concierge, housekeeping, valet, bellman etc). 1.)Reserved a pool room view, and got a roof with loud a.c view. Couldnt even enjoy balcony a.c was so loud. 2.)15 to 20 min wait fir a shuttle to parking garage everyday, evertime we want to leave hotel. 3.) Check in and check out lines are a minimum 1 hour insane lines to check in after driving 8 to 10 hours to get there having to wait in a line for an hour to ck into room. 4.) Golf course was awesome we went to the pool area for lunch food was great
Fridge was smaller than mini fridges that I'm use to, and there was no microwave in the room. Besides that, everything else seemed fine
All of the employees were so nice and helpful! We will definitely stay there again!
Stayed at this hotel for a convention this past weekend. December 15-17 2017. From the moment we arrived, the staff was rude, degrading, and every employee just had an attiditude that they did not want to be there. From the moment we arrived and the Valet parking attendent told us that self parking was around back, to the checkin clerk who asked if we had the money to stay at the hotel. My flight was incredibly delayed when I came in for a conference so I had coworkers confirm with the front desk that my reservation would not be cancelled for a no show. I arrived at 3:00 AM Sunday morning only to find out that my work’s credit card had not been applied to my room (the rest of the team had checked in hours prior but I was on a different flight). There was not one thing I was pleased about during my stay at this resort. I have vacationed in Orlando for years and this hotel by far has displeased me the most. The service was awful starting with valet and their disregard for courteous customer service! Not one person offered to helped with luggage when arriving or leaving. The prices we paid for our room I felt were over priced considering I did not find anything special of luxurious about our room.
