Large Room with Standard Fare – Menu is a mix of Italian, American Salads and Mexican. Weird Combo. Good Food but nothing outstanding. Had the Pasta with Clams. A good lunch option because you can choose to order half portions of big dishes at a cheaper price. Very busy, lots of traffic from the grove. Quite Noisy. Prefer the Famer's Market to be honest.

Smoothe service-- and not the good kind!! – Mushroom soup was absolutely delectable!. Fried coconut shrimp with a delicious peachy sauce. Curry chicken with lots of fruit and a fajita salad with warm grilled chicken in a tostada shell were my favorites. I overheard the table next to us get their bill and there waitress said that the tip was included for large parties. I wondered if our tip would be included on our bil. Our waiter didn't say anything about a tip. But my dad's eyes are bad,so I checked the bill. Our waiter adde... read more

average overall but very expensive – There were 8 of us who went there for lunch after USC's graduation in May. My husband and I had soup and it was wonderful. The Blue cheese house salad was great also. The rest of the diners had varied things from curried chicken salad to fish to steaks. We were all pleased with the taste of our meals and the service was average, the wait staff was not overly friendly. The bill was $448.00 and we left a $60 dollar tip. So it was on the pricey side, but it is located in the Grove district a... read more

WORST FOOD... EVER – I have never had such a bad tasting dish in my life until now. I ordered pasta, you would think that this is a foolproof dish and no one could go wrong in preparing it YOURE WRONG the pasta tasted like if you soaked heavy construction paper in milk and then mildly warmed it. This was the worst thing Ive tasted in my life. We were a party of 5 and no one liked what they ordered. I agree with the last reviewer your are better of at Dennys

Am I an Animal.... – ...or a human? If you feel like the latter, go there: the portions are huge, and the ambiance in the restaurant is accordingly: let's not focus on quality and taste, rather amount, and to serve as many people as possible. The menu seems impressive at first, but indeed is trying to incorporate as many different tastes as possible - yet fails to create one unique dish. Don't waste any money, time, or wxpectations on this place - you will be disappointed.

food was bad – I was charmed by the well designed old fashioned interior, with old mirrors, a lot of wood, chandeliers, and charming baskets and milk pails. There is a patio and a small old fashioned bar to the side. No question the interior is worth seeing even if you have to put up with the average food once. I ordered the liver and onions with bacon, and oven potatos. The food was OVERLY SALTY, the onions were soggy like the potatos, the bacon bits were like salt cubes. I had to ask for the rolls, and the waiter told me i... read more

Just AWFUL – The worst food ever put in front of me in a restaurant. Dried out vegetables, burnt potatoes, no care at all given to the food put on the plate. Awful. The plate was returned and taken off my bill. You're better off at Denny's.

Avoid At All Costs!! – Glad to see we're not the only ones who encountered horrible service at this place, which will certainly never see my table of four again. Food is ok - sub-Cheesecake Factory, a little better than a diner. Location alone will probably insure it stays busy, but hopefully word will get out that their SERVICE IS AWFUL! We waited for 45 minutes, and were assured by the host that breakfast went until 3:30pm on Sun. Waitress says Nope 3pm - won't budge, says "So, do you want to leave or what?" Much to my cha... read more

service was lacking – The location at The Grove shopping area is a bonus, but that's about where the good ends. Our server was disinterested in being there, and didn't seem to pay much attention to us at all. When we sat, we were never brought bread or water, meanwhile every other table received theirs. Later, after requesting water, it was still not brought. The waitress was impossible to find for coffee refills, and we were not the only table to experience problems.
