very helpful, cheerful, caring and respectful. Healed so much of my pain, and i couldn't be more thankful for meeting him. YES!, the wait is long, but trust me, he IS WORTH IT!
Dr. Stern performed ILIF surgery on my back May 2018. It was one level for stenosis and after 6 weeks I have no more of the previous lumbar pain on my right side and down my right leg. The problems with my leg - numbness, could not stand more than 5-10 minutes, could not walk more than 10 minutes without pain, many other restrictions using the leg - are all gone. My wife says I look, move and stand noticeably better/straighter. Walking is the most positive change as I can walk pain free.
Thanks to Dr. Stern, and the nevro implant, Im not in extreme pain.. First time in 5+years I haven't been in MAJOR pain. Highly reccomend Dr. Stern and nevro.
My wife had extensive upper body pain. Headache, neck, shoulders and arms that would not life above the shoulders. Dr. Stern said it was not worth an operation. Another Dr. operated and all previously listed pains were gone also including back pain, foot cramp, and palsy finger. Dr. Stern also said my wife had extensive arthritis in her spine. The operating surgeon said her spine was healthy. It was a life changing event finding another doctor.
Courteous,comprehensive,incredibly knowledgeable of all the latest technology and willing to carefully listen to all my complaints and symptoms. He gave me a plan and suggested artificial disc replacement for my problem .I wasn't aware of this option.really glad I came to him.
Dr. Stern is thorough, brilliant, cares about his patients, and has a wicked sense of humor (laughter is the best medicine). Without his thoroughness, I could have had a surgery that would have left me paralyzed. Instead, he ensured I take care of all my spine issues, one at a time, and in the order to preserve my health.
Dr. Stern is not only an excellent surgeon he is also a caring human being! When I came to him I was in such extreme pain that I didn't know if I could go on. He explained to me what was happening to my back& what to expect after surgery . When I woke up after the procedure I was 99 percent better!He is really my Hero!!!
