I was referred to Dr. Stern by my cancer Dr. due to a high amount of pain, I was experiencing from the cancer location. Made a appointment with his office and found the staff to be helpful and pleasure to work with. Dr. Stern is very much, a Man who cares for his patients. He was very kind and explained the procedure in detail and how the pain pouch worked. I had to go into the hospital for him to install the pouch. I love Dr Stern he is always super kool,chill .I actually enjoy coming to see him,and he’s from my hometown New York so that’s just a bonus !
I would recommend Dr. Stern to anyone who is experiencing back pain.
To relieve lower back pain
Learned more about my back problem them I have been told in the last five years.
Dr. Stern was the attending neurosurgeon when I was ambulanced to the hospital for a back injury from a horse riding accident. He saved me from surgery that was recommended by the trauma doctor. He spent extra time reviewing all of my scans and determined that a brace would be a better outcome than surgery. I believe any other younger, less experienced doctor would have just happily cut me open.
