It was refreshing to deal with dr.Schultzel he has a great bedside manners ,listen to all your questions and answer them with smile. I needed a third elbow surgery and he did a wonderful job .I am almost having full motion after only 2 month without physical therapy due to covid-19. So god bless you dr.schultzel.Thank you very much

Outstanding Dr! He gave clear detailed explanations and kept an easing positive attitude. My entire experience was exactly as he told me it would be and I am recovering without any complications. Highly recommend him if you need something fixed.

I have been dealing with debilitating wrist pain for almost a year. Dr. Mark Schultzel was recommended to us by a friend, and not only is he one of the most caring human beings I have met but he is also an exceptional physician. He listened to my concerns, created a plan, and started treatment right away. He understood how much pain I was in and he empathized on figuring out a solution as soon as possible. Dr. Mark Schultzel and his team, especially Jana Bynum, made it so easy to get my MRI, my physical therapy, and ultimate... read more

Dr. Schultzel fixed my shoulder! He did not recommend the much more invasive and costly surgery, instead he professionally diagnosed me with x-ray and ultrasound to get an in depth view of my injury and recommended a cortisone shot. About one month out from the injection and my shoulder feels great, 100% healed. His honesty, genuine concern for me and competence were extraordinary. I cannot recommend Dr. Schultzel highly enough.

I am not someone to leave reviews, but I feel I need to when the care I received went above and beyond. Dr. Schultzel is thoughtful, extremely bright, and very friendly. It was one of the few times that I have been to a doctor's office and did not feel like I was being rushed. He listens and communicates well. Also, even though he is listed as a shoulder specialist he is equally skilled and trained in other orthopedic problems. I went in for my knees and he knew exactly what I was experiencing and gave me excellent care.

Probably one of the few Dr.s that actually looks through your past history BEFORE he meets with you! I tore my right rotator cuff tendon again (15 years from the first one), working out at bootcamp. His downtime reccomendations were pretty substantial for this being my dominant arm, but he assured me many times to make sure I did exactly what his plan entailed. I was not thrilled, but i trusted him. He followed up regularly, called, and had a solid physical therapy plan that was under his direction. I did everything i was to... read more

I had my elbow scoped. Dr. Schultzel was very professional and caring. I had multiple office visits and each time I was seen on time of my appointment.

I highly recommend this doctor. Dr. Shultzel knows his stuff. He could tell just by looking at my x-rays that my supraspinatis tendon was not connected anymore. The day of surgery he was very professional and calming. He located other issues during the arthroscopic surgery and fixed those also. At 4 months my left arm and shoulder almost had full range of motion. At 5 1/2 months my strength was back and I had full range motion plus. And, by 7 months my Shultzel Shoulder was stronger then my good right shoulder (and I am righ... read more

At first I was a little skeptical about the amount of "down time' I was going to have after getting carpel tunnel release surgery on my left hand, the pain and numbness was keeping me awake at night with severe pain. After Dr. Schultzel performed the operation, I was pleasantly surprised by a couple of thing. 1. The pain from the procedure itself resulted in very little pain, insothat I did not need to take the post surgical pain medication ( Hydrocodone ). 2. I was able to return to work on light duty in two days. 3. I was ... read more
