Dr Lin is to the point, very knowledgeable and does not care for excessive testing (which I like) unless warranted. He is on time and up with the latest techniques.
I’ve been trying to get my test results for EIGHT MONTHS. My medical issues have grown more severe due to lack of care and follow up from his office. Horrible Medical Assistant. Smells like weed and doesn’t remember something you just told her.
I came to my appointment prepared, with a brief, organized description of my problem, information about prior tests and treatments, current medications and other major medical problems. Dr. Lin listened to me, explained what might be causing my symptoms, and arranged for my endoscopy. The endoscopy went well, and Dr. Lin explained his findings and what next steps he was recommending as soon as I was awake. All in all, he was friendly and competent!
I would never recommend this provider. Seemed to be in a rush. Not friendly. Office staff is rude. You walk in and they just look at you. When my doctor referred me, they said they called me, but they never did. Finally got an appointment 4 months later. Won't return.
I should have never made the appointment to meet with him the first time his office never called me back and I had to call again. Which happened many times after. The doctor is not the best people person and I felt like he pushed away my concerns I had regarding anything. Doesn’t seem to have time and is way to busy to really help you without rushing it somewhat. He prescribed medince without having anyone explain it to me and not a lot guidance in general. I would avoid for long term care.
I had to wait two months to see him. Once I was bale to get in he did not listen to me and my concerns. He ordered labs and said that he would follow up with me but never did. I tried calling his office, but never got assistance. I am very unhappy with is treatment.
Dr. Lin displayed total disregard in following proper procedure with our insurance carrier, which forced the carrier to deny coverage on a Cologuard test, which my husband was convinced to do. The carrier said if Dr. Lin had followed the routine pre-authorization process, he would have known our carrier would not approve the test, because it is experimental and too expensive. Dr. Lin's failure to follow proper protocol, left us paying a HUGE amount for a test we would have never done!
I found Dr. Lin to be abrupt, dismissive, and unwilling to even consider the possibility that my previous gastroenterologists (at a highly regarded hospital on the west coast) knew what they were doing. Rather than requesting information from a colonoscopy and endoscopy I had less than 2 years earlier, he wanted to perform his own procedures before recommending an ongoing treatment plan.
Wow, how refreshing!!! A doctor that has great bedside manner and very knowledgeable. Dr. Lin takes his time to listen and answers all of the patient's questions. Allows the appropriate amount of time until all questions are answered and understood.
